How to Pay
We accept UK bank transfer and cryptocurrency. We do not currently accept debit or credit cards. Payment is confirmed manually, and nothing is dispatched until funds have cleared.
Bank transfer
Most orders are paid this way. It takes about a minute from a banking app.
- Place your order and choose Pay by bank transfer at checkout.
- The confirmation page shows the amount, our account details, and a payment reference beginning
LSP. - Send the exact amount from your banking app, quoting that reference.
- We check payments each morning and evening on working days. You will receive a second email confirming your order once the payment clears.
Two things your bank may do, both normal
Your bank will show the account name we hold with them, which may differ from our trading name. This does not mean anything is wrong.
Banks also routinely delay a first payment to a new payee, cap the amount, or ask you to confirm you know who you are paying. That is standard fraud protection on any new payee, not a signal about us.
If you forget the reference, email us with your order number and the amount sent, and we will match it manually.
Cryptocurrency
We accept Bitcoin. The sterling price is fixed at the rate shown at checkout for the quoted window. Network fees are yours. Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible, so please check the address before sending.
Why we do not take cards
Card networks classify laboratory research materials as a restricted category, and mainstream processors do not serve it. Rather than route payments through an arrangement that could be withdrawn without notice mid-order, we take payment directly. It means one extra step for you and a great deal more stability for your order.
How long we hold an order
Items are reserved for five working days. Weekends and bank holidays are not counted, so a Friday evening order is not at risk over the weekend. We send a reminder after 24 hours and again after 72. If payment has not arrived by the end of the holding period the order is cancelled and the stock released.
