Every batch we release has its own certificate. Enter the batch number printed on your vial label to retrieve it.

Reading a certificate

The batch number identifies the specific production lot. Purity is the proportion of the total HPLC signal attributable to the main peak. Identity records whether mass spectrometry confirmed the compound. Retest by is the date at which the batch should be re-analysed rather than an expiry date.

Why the figure is not always 100%

No synthesised peptide is chemically perfect. A purity figure describes what the analysis found, and a certificate that reports a real number is more useful than a round one. If a batch does not meet specification it is not released, so the certificate you receive is for material that passed.
